Katelee Evans was nominated and chosen as the PG Cares Youth of the Month. Katelee is going to be a senior this coming year at Pleasant Grove High School.

Here’s what she was nominated for:

“Katelee is one of the sweetest girls I know. She is always one to find someone sitting alone and including them in the group. She is super responsible and if I need her help with anything she is willing to do it and I don’t have to worry about following up. Katelee plays the piano, violin and loves to sing. She finds strength in music and loves sharing her musical talents with the world. When I asked who in our neighborhood would be a good teacher for my friend’s daughter all of the ladies said Katelee.

Katelee ran track and cross country until her health problems forced her to stop. After three vascular surgeries the blood can now flow from her kidney to her heart and Katelee is back running, leaving kind notes on cars and loving people. She’s the oldest of 4 and has 3 younger sisters. Katelee is a bright spot in our youth group and very loved.”

Congratulations Katelee!! We commend you for being an amazing example in our community! Your influence is seen and noticed by others. Keep up the great work and keep making a difference!!
