SophiaLyn Gaines, Soph to those who love her, is an amazing example of a
teenager who cares. She is a 10th grader at PGHS. Soph has always been one who looks out for the one, who makes sure no one feels left out. She is also one who supports everyone and is the greatest hype squad member there is. She is always looking for ways to serve others and give back. She recently partnered with the PTA at her old elementary school to host their first annual Costumes and Coats Pop Up Shop. She dreams big and wants to support everyone. Everyone needs someone like her in their lives.
Soph’s mom added: “Soph is magic. When you become a friend, she’s in your corner for life. She was made for the stage as she has been a competitive dancer and more recently switched over to theater. She is always so excited to support her friends, to work as a team to create magic and learn from her directors. She’s
currently in rehearsals with Legacy Dance for their production of Beauty and the Beast where she is portraying Mrs. Potts. She is also apart of the PGHS theater company. Soph also competes in pageants. She loves her “sisters” and is truly a huge supporter of all they strive to do as they support their own communities.”
Congratulations Soph!! We commend you for being an amazing example in our community and know that your influence is seen and noticed by others. Keep up the great work and keep making a difference!
