Here’s what Claire was nominated for:

Claire has been involved in High School Choir, the girls golf team, and has really enjoyed her urban dance class. Outside of school, Claire is a volunteer at the Pleasant Grove Library in their literacy center where she tutors several young children weekly. Claire has always had a love for dance and loves working at her job at Taco Amigo. Claire has also been involved with the Choose Kindness club.

Despite all these things that Claire works hard at, she has an auditory processing disorder that makes things challenging. Nothing seems to come easy, and she has to work extra hard to get the same results as others do. However, this has not slowed Claire down. A few Summers ago, she fell in love with Gray’s Anatomy and wants to be a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon one day. Claire loves little kids and has a special way of connecting with them and helping them feel loved. Claire has the ability to look for those who need a friend and goes out of her way to serve them. She is empathetic and always thinking of others. We are so proud of what Claire has accomplished throughout her school journey. We are also so grateful for those special teachers, employers, leaders and friends who have gone above and beyond to help her succeed, help her feel seen, and helped her feel a part of something when things seemed impossible.

Congratulations Claire!! We commend you for being an amazing example in our community and know that your influence is seen and noticed by others. Keep up the great work and keep making a difference!!
