Table Talk: The Anxious Generation- How Technology Shaped a Generation and How we Can Respond

Join us on Tuesday, November 18th, 2025, at 12:30 PM at the Pleasant Grove Public Library for an afternoon of learning and growth. Our expert speaker, Dr. Bryan Weed, is a pediatrician with Utah Valley Pediatrics. The Anxious Generation, by Jonathan Haidt, is a well-researched book that highlights some of the causes of the current mental health epidemic among our youth today and gives some suggestions on ways to help youth have healthier boundaries with technology while building resilience in the real world. Dr. Weed and his associates have created a committee to help establish norms in our communities to increase the protection of our children in the digital world, while also promoting more opportunities for unstructured play and experiences in the real world.
