Inclusive Sports Day

Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Location: Cook Family Park, Pleasant Grove

Join Mikey’s League and the Pleasant Grove Recreation Center for an exciting day of sports, friendship, and fun!

This high-energy event is designed for athletes with disabilities, siblings, and anyone who wants to be part of an inclusive day of play.

What to Expect

Participants will:

– Check in and warm up together.

– Be grouped by age.

– Rotate through three exciting sports:

Street Hockey

Flag Football

Basketball

Each group will spend about 40 minutes at each station, giving every athlete the opportunity to:

– Try new sports

– Build confidence and skills

– Make new friends

– Experience the joy of being part of a team

Who Can Participate?

– Ages 6 and up

– Athletes with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities

– Siblings are encouraged to join the fun.

– Caregivers are invited to stay on-site to cheer, connect, and enjoy the day.

No Experience Needed

Mikey’s League will provide:

– All equipment

– Trained coaches and volunteers

– Water and support throughout the event

Families can also visit an on-site Resource Fair featuring local service providers and community organizations.
