Chalk the Lot: Stars, Stripes & Strawberries
June 12 - June 16
PG Cares will be sponsoring the Strawberry Days 2026 Chalk the Lot Event.
Space is limited, we will only have 50 squares available to chalk in. Register Here!
Deadline to register for the Chalk the Lot Event is Tuesday June 9th at midnight.
Once artists are registered, we will confirm with an email with further instructions.
Artists will be allowed to work on their art starting Friday, June 12th at noon and art must be finished by 1pm on Tuesday, June 16th. Winners will be announced during the concert in the park around 7pm.
We will have 4 different age-based groups for the competition. Groups of people (family, friends, organizations) may work together on a chalk art piece. You must enter the age category of the oldest person working on the art.
Each age group will have a winner in the following themes:
1. “Roots of Freedom”- art that showcases Celebrating 250 years of freedom, our history and heroes
2. “Community Connection”- art that showcases connection to family, friends, or community, Pleasant Grove Pride
3. “Stars, Stripes and Strawberries” Days Themed- art that is all about Strawberry days
Winner (groups) in each category will receive one Prize Basket valued around $100.
****All Chalk must be able to be washed off, there may be fine imposed if we can not remove it in a reasonable amount of time. You agree to this by siging up.
