Flourishing or Floundering- The Transition into Adulthood

March 21 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Free

Join us for an exciting event with Dr. Larry Nelson, who is an award-winning professor in the School of Family Life at BYU. We dive into the rollercoaster ride called adulthood and help our teens and young adults transition into it. Whether they are to graduate high school or have a couple of years left, this event is for you. Dr. Nelson studies factors that lead to flourishing or floundering in the transition to adulthood with a particular interest in parenting, social competence, social withdrawal, identity, beliefs, and culture. He also studies factors (e.g., parenting, culture, self-perceptions) related to children’s social development.

We’ll be gathering at Pleasant Grove Library. Get ready for an interactive and insightful experience as we navigate the challenges and triumphs of becoming an adult. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to gain valuable advice and connect with others going through the same journey. Lunch will be provided. Reserve your seat now. Limited space. See you there!
